Waiting together for the results of the Excellence Strategy: The University of Hohenheim invites you to an informal get-together on Thursday, May 22, 2025, starting at 4:30 p.m. in the Innovation Greenhouse.
Dear University members,
The excitement is building: Next Thursday, it will be announced which universities will be allowed to form clusters of excellence. Up to 70 selected universities will thus have the opportunity to expand their cutting-edge research at the highest level.
This is a significant moment for the University of Hohenheim, as we have also applied for a cluster of excellence in collaboration with the universities of Tübingen and Heidelberg. Our university is involved in another cluster of excellence at the University of Tübingen with personnel and essential infrastructure.
The President's Office and researchers are now eagerly awaiting the results—and invite you to join us at an open get-together. Whether there will be cause for celebration or pause for reflection, we want to provide space for both.
But one thing we already know today: Together with two renowned partners, we were able to develop promising proposals that made it to the final selection. We learned a lot during the preparation phase. And we have already invested in minds, structures, and equipment in advance. All of this makes us a winner already!
